This clock is made from hand-shaped tiles which are inlaid on a cement board surface, and grouted. I wanted to create an unusual clock with curved, flowing lines, and took inspiration from the Missouri River for this piece. The round hour markers are inlaid in the piece, not just glued on top. Some of the tiles are slightly thicker than the others, giving a pleasing dimensional effect.  It has a wood frame on the back which provides anchor points for the hanger wire.
